For Violin, Viola, & Cello (String Trio)

Composed to four pictures I captured in Europe in December 2024, Blur & Bloom explores musical analogies to photographic techniques, tracing a musical journey from motion and chaos to luminous calm. The two-movement piece, composed in November 2025, follows a trajectory from agitation toward stillness, blurring with dissonance, instability, and rhythmic turbulence. Gradually, the musical image resolves into radiance and calm, as harmonies bloom and spaciousness evoke the gentleness and warmth of light.

For Viola, 2 Pianos, & Digital Effects

Shards of Light, Whispers at Dawn is an original composition I wrote in October 2025 for two pianos, viola and digital effects. Composed to a self-curated film of royalty-free stock footage, Shards of Light, Whispers at Dawn reflects the freedom of the night, the reflection of light in raindrops, and the insistent inevitability of dawn.

Event Horizon (2024)

For Digital/Electronic Instruments

Event Horizon is an original electronic work that I composed in November 2024, which features many digital effects and instruments, taking inspiration from the contemporary genre of Electronica. I wrote this piece to an animation I created on Blender, depicting a spaceship falling into a black hole, alongside colour-graded NASA simulation footage.

Fractured Sky (2024)

For Piano, Harp, 2 Violas, & 2 Cellos

Fractured Sky, is an original work that I composed for multi-tracked piano, harp, two violas, and two cellos, depicting a post-apocalyptic world. This work is inspired by film and game music, and was written in September 2024. The first section is harmonically dense and dramatic to represent the dangers humanity faces in surviving apocalyptic circumstances, with a contrasting second section featuring bright and soaring melodies and harmonies to depict the hope in rebuilding humanity. This work has a large jazz influence displayed through dissonant harmonies and polyrhythmic ideas.

Myths & Magistrates (2024)

For Piano, Harp, Violin, Viola, Cello

I composed and performed this soundtrack performed for an original play Myths & Magistrates that I organised alongside three actors. The play was roughly 25 minutes in length and was set in the realm of ancient and mythical gods with live music played by my trio, reflecting the unfolding conflicts and dilemmas as wars erupt.
