Composed to four pictures taken in Europe in December 2024, this piece explores musical analogies to photographic techniques, tracing a musical journey from motion and chaos to luminous calm. The two-movement piece follows a trajectory from agitation toward stillness, blurring with dissonance, instability, and rhythmic turbulence. Gradually, the musical image resolves into radiance and calm, as harmonies bloom and spaciousness evoke the gentleness and warmth of light.

Composed to an edited film of royalty-free stock footage, this piece reflects the freedom of the night, the reflection of light in raindrops, and the insistent inevitability of dawn.

Event Horizon is an original electronic work that features many digital effects and instruments, taking inspiration from the contemporary genre of Eletronica. I wrote this piece to a blue-colour-graded video edit that I made, depicting falling into a black hole, taking clips from Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, a video recreating Interstellar’s black hole, and NASA simulation footage.

Fractured Sky, is an original work that I composed for multitracked piano, harp, 2 violas, and 2 cellos, depicted a post-apocalytic world. This work is inspired by film and game music. The first section is harmonically dense and dramtic to represent the dangers humanity faces in surviving apocalytic circumstances, with a contrasting second section featuring bright and soaring melodies and harmonies to depict the hope in rebuilding humanity. This work has a lrge jazz influence displayed through dissonant harmonies and polyrhythmic ideas.

This composition is a soundtrack I composed and performed in a trio for an original play Myths & Magistrates that I organised alongside three actors. The play was roughly 25 minutes in length and was set in the realm of ancient and mythical gods with live music played by my trio, reflecting the unfolding conflicts and dilemmas as wars erupt.
